Does Headlands Beach have tides?

No. The Great Lakes are large enough to feel the moon's pull, but the true tide on Lake Erie is less than 5 cm (2 inches) — smaller than the ripple from a passing boat, and invisible against ordinary waves. NOAA classifies the Great Lakes as non-tidal, so there is no tide table to publish for Headlands Beach, and any site showing one is showing you noise.

What moves the water instead

Seiches. Sustained wind or a pressure front can push water toward one end of the lake; when the push stops, the whole lake sloshes back and forth for hours. On Lake Erie a strong seiche can move the shoreline level by a foot or more — far more than the astronomical tide — but on no fixed schedule.

Seasons. Lake levels also ride an annual cycle of rain, snowmelt and evaporation, usually peaking in summer and bottoming out in winter — a slow drift measured in inches to a couple of feet across the year.
